Introducing the Black Innovation Leaders of Florida – Innovation Tour

Network, sample dishes from local restaurants with wine and beer sampling and a chance to interact with innovative displays.

Tampa, FL – August 15, 2023. The Florida Black Innovation Tour, a pioneering series of events poised to captivate different cities, is set to bring a new era of empowerment and innovation. This transformative tour, set to start in Tampa on August 25-26, 2023, is organized by the Black Innovation Leaders of Florida in collaboration with its organization’s members. It is all about uniting organizations, tech talent, entrepreneurs, leaders, politicians, corporate executives, and venture capitalists from diverse backgrounds to help the black community succeed in building wealth and equity in the innovation community.

It all starts on August 25th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI). People will come together to network, sample dishes from local restaurants with wine and beer sampling, and have a chance to interact with innovative displays. Then for Day 2 at the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center on August 26, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, the community will gather to discuss public policy issues. Conversations around engaging in the legislative process and protecting yourself in this new stage of AI. The Tampa event wouldn’t happen without the support of these members, sponsors, and partners: The Mainframe, Blacks in Tech Tampa Bay, Above Promotions, HHillsborough County Entrepreneur Collaborative Center, and MOSI.

The tour stops will address the topics of Capital, Procurement, Education, Talent, and Public Policy. Along the way, each city will have science and technology-related displays, making this a unique experience for all attendees.
