No prospective employer wants to hire someone who will ultimately leave the company to fulfill his career goals. Instead, distill your goals down to the basics. If your career plan is to start your own business, for example, you can mention the leadership skills and project management skills you hope to develop through the job you are applying for. Additionally, focus on short-term goals rather than long-term goals.
