WINTER PARK — Janelle Dunn, Chief Executive Officer of True Health, a private, non-profit community health center, will join John Crossman Saturday, Sept. 30 at 1:05 p.m. on The Crossman Conversation.
Dunn joined the 501 (c)(3) community health center in 2012 as a Center Manager. With a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Loyola University, she was previously in the banking and finance industry. But that was not consistent with her passion to help others in need and give back to the community. She pursued and achieved a master’s in health administration from UCF and other certifications in the health care field.
True Health has been serving low-income, uninsured, underinsured, and underserved populations in Central Florida since 1977 with nine service locations in Orange and Seminole Counties. Dunn worked her way up in the organization and since taking over as CEO she has challenged her team to find creative solutions to problems. She is in the process of expanding True Health to include additional locations to meet the needs of Central Florida’s growing population.
Crossman launched his show to provide a platform for widely accomplished activists, like Dunn, to share experiences and advice that might inspire listeners who have similar passions.
“I am thrilled that Janelle is on the show to share the wonderful work she and her team at True Health are doing and the services they provide in our community.”
