One-page resumes can vary in length. A resume for an entry-level position will look different than a resume showing more experience for a dream job, for example. However, in general, you should aim to fill at least three-quarters of the pages for a one-page resume. Otherwise, the section will look empty and the hiring manager’s eyes will be on the blank, not on your skills and experience.
If your resume doesn’t meet that length, try adding additional information such as certifications, accomplishments, links to social media networking pages like your LinkedIn profile and consider breaking down your skills into broader categories (e.g., “Computer Skills,” “Organizational Skills”).
